The juice is full of simple sugars, electrolytes, and minerals that replenish hydration levels within the body. Research studies have suggested that cytokines (e.g.’ kinetin and trans-zeatin) in coconut water has shown significant anti-ageing, anti-carcinogenic, and anti-thrombotic effects. Additionally, coconut water is composed of many naturally occurring bioactive enzymes such as acid phosphatase, catalase, dehydrogenase, diastase, peroxidase, RNA-polymerases, etc.
These enzymes help with digestion and increasing metabolism. Despite having a very light consistency, its water has a much better composition of minerals (like calcium, iron, magnesium, and zinc) than certain fruits like oranges. Coconut water has been generally offered to patients with diarrhea in many tropical regions around the world to replace the fluid lost from the gastrointestinal tract and to reduce the need for intravenous therapy.
The osmolarity of young coconut water is slightly greater than that of the WHO recommended ORS (Oral Rehydration Therapy). The presence of other biological constituents like amino acids, enzymes, minerals, and fatty acids may account for this higher osmolarity. However, Unlike WHO-ORS, its water is very low in sodium and chlorides, but rich in sugar and amino acids.
This well-balanced fluid composition together with much-needed calories would be a much more ideal beverage than any other king of soft drink for rehydration (E-g. Gatorade). Its water is also a very good source of B-complex vitamins such as riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, pyridoxine, and folates. These vitamins are essential and the human body requires them from external sources to replenish them.
From the planting and harvesting done at our own coconut farm (GAP Certified) and the nearly 3,000 acres of our contracted farms all the way to the packaging and exporting of our products to our customers worldwide, we confidently believe that our products are of the finest quality, standard and freshness and that we will consistently be able to provide you with a quality supply year round.
